The Astral Riders

Biker

"Bear" (Barry Logan Walker, as he appeared in life)We are the Astral Riders: I (Bear), Allen, Jacko, Wally, Darek, Claryssa, Rusty, and Garulf, along with many others. We are bikers who, although no longer in the physical dense plane of awareness, still carry on our biker tradition in the Astral realm.  Devoted to the Divine Plan for humanity, we continue to serve in our unique way, helping those both on our side of existence and on yours. Life truly is eternal, brothers. Don't mourn excessively for your friends who have made the great crossing, for they are still with you; their energy and love still surrounds you.

My name is "Bear", and I am a human soul in service to Humanity. It took me a long time to get to where I am now. Having suffered much abuse in my previous incarnation as the persona Barry Logan Walker, it took me a long time to work through the issues I had to face, plus the garbage I brought in from previous incarnations.

The Biker way of life is both a truly noble and troubled lifestyle. The degree of brotherhood and friendship is more intense than almost any other type of lifestyle.  Soul-bonds are truly forged among bikers. Many bikers in incarnation now are reliving lifetimes as knights, vikings, samurai, barbarians, or other ancient warrior factions. Many of them have endured great emotional and spiritual wounds, and have difficulty recovering from these, as I did. Many of them are confused and lost, and render chaos in their lives and the lives of those they love and who love them, until they are able to come to terms with the anguish they suffered. One thing that seems to be a constant among all bikers I have met is that they are all very emotional and in desperate need of the Love energy of trust and acceptance. Show me a biker without his buddies and his ladies and I'll show you a biker who has cut himself off and is preparing to destroy himself.

This is where Astral riders such as I come into play. We help guide for those of you riding in incarnation. When one of you is in the agonies of sorrow, depression, anger, or hurt, we bring our energies in to help abate some of the negativity and get you back on track.  Above all, we want you to be happy and have fun and live the true Biker life of freedom.  There is no freedom when you are imprisoned by grief, anger, pain, and self-destruction.  Obviously, not all of you are imprisoned by these issues and emotions, or otherwise we would never get rest! We have nothing but the utmost love for you and honor for what you are doing; simply being in incarnation is a service to all.   Even those of our brothers known as the "one-percenters" are loved and honored; even through their pain, their light and love shines through.

What would we tell you if we could speak to you? We would tell you how much you are loved and honored by the Universe. We would tell you to continue your wonderful service to humanity, no matter how much your society seems to scorn you or your appearance.  Those who scorn you are also in lesson, and have their own issues and hurts to reconcile.  We would urge you to maintain a balance in your life so that the extremes of life would not knock you off-center and into old patterns of destructive behavior. We would tell you to regularly demonstrate love,  for that is a source of great strength, not a sign of weakness.  We would dare you to move beyond the limitations of your prior societal conditioning and live your life as the truly free spirit and beautiful soul that you are.   All that I speak of at this time are issues that I have personally had to come to terms with. I thought at one time that I was unworthy and undeserving of love; that I was dirty and worthless. I maintained an abrasive, "macho" image, bullying those who loved me in spite of my negative attitudes and behavior. I abused my physical body with unhealthy substances and habits until I finally brought about my own demise on the night before my 31st birthday. I crossed over to the Astral Plane on December 19, 1991, my heart having given out, mainly through the denial of Love.

I guess I must have done something right, for after I was "processed" on the other side, I was given the opportunity to work out some of my life issues as a spirit guide for someone in incarnation. That person is Paris, my best friend to this day, and he has helped me far more than I have helped him. It is because of his strength and his love, as well as that of his wife Lela, that I am as spiritually healthy and happy as I am today.   If I had known such happiness while in incarnation!

That is why I do what I do. If I can help give back anything to humanity in gratitude for helping me to work out my karmic issues, I consider that to be a true service.

HOGS (Harleys, that is)

Bear on his "HOG" I love Harley-Davidsons as much now as I did when I was in incarnation. There is nothing like having the throb of the motor pulsating between your thighs, with wind whipping your hair as you cruise down the highway at top speed. I was, and still am, addicted to speed; not the drug, but the sensation of motion.

My last bike while I was in incarnation was a 1983 HD "Fat Boy," black, with customized trim and accessories. I didn't do side cars then, and I still don't.   Today, I ride the astral equivalent of pretty much the same bike. We Astral Riders have fewer limitations upon our travels than you do. For one thing, no helmets! Also, no gasoline. Gasoline is useless on the Astral Plane; the emanations of gasoline fumes from your physical plane actually creates turbulence on the Astral. We use the power of directed thought to power our Hogs. Simply by intense concentration, we can literally "will" the astral form of the bikes to travel where we need to go. Consequently, because of the intense astral focus, there are very few accidents on the Astral unless one of us turns stupid and does something foolish .

Below are some of the best Biker links that we've found on the Internet.

REAL Bikers on the VIRTUAL highway:

  • Duckman's Bitchin' Biker Page.   Duckman is one cool biker from the Netherlands. His page contains a lot of great tech tips for those of you incarnate bikers. Many Thanks to Duckman for linking us to his Biker Links page--as of his last update,  there are 1050 active links (not all active), and growing! If it ain't here..who knows where it is?

  • Biker Rogue.  A bona-fide motorcycle photographer and Harley rider.

  • Bandit's Bikernet.   Bitchen' resource!

  • Visit the Orange County Hell's Angels...in SoCal, where the biker mystique began.

  • Mountainman's Biker Zone.   Great Harley Poetry, cool graphics (check out the animated fly-eating biker) and one helluva stand-up dude.

  • Randyz Bitchen Biker Page.   Another cool biker: I think you'll like this guy.

  • Righteous Bob's Ramblin's.

  • Wild Willy Parsons.   A biker serving the Plan by making others laugh. What nobler service could there be?

Some other Links of interest to Bikers:

  • The Hog's Breath.  Pics of the bikers & their scoots, the biker lifestyle, rallies, links galore and a whole lot more! Definitely check out this site.

  • The Allen Vintage Motorcycle Museum includes a collection of vintage racing and touring motorcycles from 1955 to the current era.  Definitely worth a visit!

  • North Texas HOG.  This is the closest one to Paris and Lela's location.  News and events on Harley activities in the Dallas-Fort Worth Texas region.

  • The official Sturgis Site.  August 4-10th is the 2003 rally.  Ride on!

  • Henry's Harley Links. A good compendium of Harley-related sites on the Internet.

  • Harley-Davidson. The ultimate bikes available in your world!

Biker Poetry and Prose

  • Mechanics--are they gods? A good essay on putting perspective on the mechanics.  One could easily substituted "doctors" for "mechanics" in this case, as I have always felt that doctors are nothing but human mechanics; their scapels and stethescopes are our wrenches and plugs. This one is from Mountainman (see above).

This page is in its second incarnation. The first one, in my opinion, was not truly in service to the Plan because at that time, I still was working through a lot of my issues and grievances, and it did come through the page a lot. I think it's appropriate that this new page take its place. I can truly feel that it is performing a worthy service.
